Winter shopping

So for the first time in absolutely ages i went shopping! I was planning on getting all my Christmas shopping done before December as i normally leave it last minute (i'm talking about new years eve last minute!). However my plan didn't go very well and i ended up spending money on myself instead... woopsy! I think i need supervision whilst shopping.. Heres some of the things i bought..

A. New Look Coat - £59.99

B. New Look Beige Heels - £19.99

C. Nivea Hydro Care - £2.03 (Local drug store)

D. Colletion 2000 Red nail varnish - £2.99 - Superdrug

E. Nail wrap Animal print - £4.99 - New Look

A. I absolutely love my new coat! I knew i wanted a fur one since last year but never got round to getting one.. this coat is great because it has buttons you cant see and a brown belt as well so you can choose either or both to do the coat up. It's really warm and the colour is gorge! I went all around Cambridge looking for a coat and there was SO many choices for fur ones but this one caught my eye! I think the colour would go with most.. next one i'd get would be either a lighter or possibly dark brown! Bargain price!

B. These shoes i bought for a night out and they are lush! They don't even hurt your feet despite the size of the heel!

C. I got this simply because in winter i tend to get very dry lips with the cold weather. Also because i have a horrible virus and my lips are getting dry. Instead of licking them constantly and making them worse this really does work and makes them look shiny and gorgeous! Really good price too.

D. I have mixed thoughts on this Nail varnish.. I am a bit of a Nail varnish addict, always have to have a colour on my nails! I found the first coat was really good however i did need to put on another after it had tried. The sales line of this nail varnish is ' Up to 10 days wear' wich i found not to be true. It did chip after about 3-4 days but i don't know if anyone else has had this problem too? Still good for the price... i can't seem to find the ultimate nail varnish!

E. Aahhh i absolutely love these! I haven't tried them yet but i defo will soon! When i try them i shall up load a post about how they turned out :)

Hope everyones had a good weekend :)

I'll be seeing you..

Firstly, sorry about the lack of posts, i have been slacking greatly! :( I've had a lot going on with Job searching, interviews, going out ectra so i keep forgetting!
Anyway i thought i'd do a post on how in love i am with the 1940's 50's ect. I have always been a Audrey Hepburn fan from the first movie i saw in 'Breakfast in Tiffanys' that soon became my favorite film of all time. Shes an icon! I thought i'd give 'The notebook' a watch the other day as i do love that film..  I never noticed before but there's a scene where they are dancing in a street and there's a old school song called 'i'll be seeing you' in the background. I thought i'd research it and i came across THE most amazing singer, Billie Holiday. Shes such an old school singer, just with jazz music ect in the background but she really is amazing.. so give it a try!

I've decided im going to keep my make up a bit like those in the 40's , i normally do the classic eye flick anyway but im going to keep it like that! Everything about that era is so classy and real. Women dressed so gorgeous back in the day, now we just hit the streets in jeans and a cardi or even pj's... Heres some of the gorgeous ladies of that time i admire..

On that note I've decided to ask the folks for an old school record player (i know that's not what there called but i'm not sure what they are called?) and some Billie Holiday records...

whats on your opinion on that decade? and whats on your christmas list this year?
